Hello all! I want to introduce you to myself.
I'm the kind of person who loves dreaming of things, who makes lots of promises to myself about what I'm going to do, and most of the time doesn't keep those promises.
Most of the time, my promises are to do with dieting. Right before I go to sleep I make a plan of exactly what I'm going to do, what I'll eat, what exercises I'll do. For most of the day I'll follow that plan, until mid-afternoon, and come the dread munchies. All plans are gone for whatever looks yum.
Sometimes I make it past that time when I'm doing something else, such as swimming or basketball, but then comes dinner.
I make dinner in my house, and every night am surrounded by food. And I have the amount of will power of a fly next to an unoccupied plate. I certainly can't stick to a healthy lifestyle change.
That's why I'm doing this. I'm going to go through a bunch of diets, sticking to each for as long as I can hold out, and then swapping when my will breaks. After all, change is as good as a holiday, maybe a change of diets will be as good as a break diet slice of cake (not likely).
I'm going to start, as most procrastinators do, tomorrow, with a diet of green food. I remember watching some show on people testing whether eating a certain colour of food with change your colour (flamingo style!). I'm curious to see if there will be a change in me. Green food here I come.
I'd post a picture of the show, or a link, but all my googling hasn't found the show. I'll keep searching, and enjoying my last day of unhealthiness (hopefully) :)
